Closed Walks in Coset Graphs and Vertex–transitive Non–cayley Graphs

چکیده
We extend the main result of R. Jajcay and J. Širáň [Australasian J. Combin. 10 (1994), 105–114] to produce new classes of vertex-transitive nonCayley graphs.

Their rich groups of automorphisms make from both the point of view of groups as well as of combinatorics. Among the most recent achievements, we can mention th...
متن کاملOn the eigenvalues of normal edge-transitive Cayley graphs
A graph $Gamma$ is said to be vertex-transitive or edge- transitive if the automorphism group of $Gamma$ acts transitively on $V(Gamma)$ or $E(Gamma)$, respectively. Let $Gamma=Cay(G,S)$ be a Cayley graph on $G$ relative to $S$. Then, $Gamma$ is said to be normal edge-transitive, if $N_{Aut(Gamma)}(G)$ acts transitively on edges. In this paper, the eigenvalues of normal edge-tra...
متن کاملNormal edge-transitive Cayley graphs on the non-abelian groups of order $4p^2$, where $p$ is a prime number
In this paper, we determine all of connected normal edge-transitive Cayley graphs on non-abelian groups with order $4p^2$, where $p$ is a prime number.
متن کاملNotes on The Connectivity of Cayley Coset Digraphs
Hamidoune’s connectivity results [11] for hierarchical Cayley digraphs are extended to Cayley coset digraphs and thus to arbitrary vertex transitive digraphs. It is shown that if a Cayley coset digraph can be hierarchically decomposed in a certain way, then it is optimally vertex connected. The results are obtained by extending the methods used in [11]. They are used to show that cycle-prefix g...
متن کاملCayley graphs and coset diagrams
Let G be a finite group, and X a subset of G. The Cayley graph of G with respect to X , written Cay(G,X) has two different definitions in the literature. The vertex set of this graph is the group G. In one definition, there is an arc from g to xg for all g ∈ G and x ∈ X ; in the other definition, for the same pairs (g,x), there is an arc from g to gx. Cayley graphs are generalised by coset grap...
